To ensure fairness to all customers and to maintain the highest standard expected as members of ASURE Accommodation Group & Hospitality NZ we have in place the following policies:
*Any check-in after 9.30pm Weekdays or 9pm Weekends, please make contact with ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments so special arrangements can be made for your key.
Payment terms : Guests are required to pay at check-in.
All rates quoted are on a per night basis and are including GST of 15%.
To confirm a booking a valid credit card and expiry date are required.
We accept the following major credit cards: Mastercard, and Visa, Farm Source, Ruralco and Farmlands, & Bartercard at no surcharge.
It is our policy that your account is kept in credit during your stay with us. We ask that you leave a cash deposit or secure your payment through a credit card to cover any extra (food and beverage charges, etc)
Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the booking incur no charges. Thereafter, if a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice the first night is payable.
For Group Bookings of 3 or more units the cancellation period is 14 days with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure the booking. If a group books on-line a 50% deposit may be requested to secure the booking. If any booking results in a "No Show" the Credit Card will be charged for the first night of the reservation.
Cancellations For Individual Bookings - A Booking For One Room Only :Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be advised by phone call (followed up by email) for any Cancellations or amendments with less than 24 hours’ notice from 2pm on the check-in day will result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged to the guests’ credit card. However we will endeavour to on-sell the rooms and will refund any on-sold room tariffs. Recommendation of travel insurance is to cover costs arising from unforeseen circumstances and changes in travel plans.
No-Show's: If you haven't cancelled your booking by phone call, followed up by email, within the required time and you don't turn up, the full room rate will be charged to your credit card. Email alone is not acceptable as there is no guarantee the email is received nor read.
Changes in Reservation Term: Any changes in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a book is subject to availability of room. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to re-let the booked accommodation.
ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments will not be in breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and any other related services by reason of Act of God, Act of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the motel.
Damage to Property: Any damage including accidents to the property at the ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel Apartments including the building, rooms and chattels will result in the guest being liable to pay for damage. Please also note: Any bond held can be used to cover damages (if no credit card is being used). The guest’s credit card will be charged for any theft, loss or damages incurred during their stay. ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments is unable to accept responsibility for damage or theft to any personal belongings including motor vehicles and contents. Safe Deposit Facilities are available at Office
Lost and Found: Any lost property will be held for 3 months. After this time, the items will be given to charity. We recommend checking your room thoroughly prior to departing. Should you inadvertently leave something behind and wish it to be returned there will be a small charge to pay for the postage or courier.
Parties And Noise: Strictly enforces a NO PARTIES and NOISE Policy for the comfort of all guests, and will not tolerate excessive noise at any time. Guests who do not comply with these policies and disrupt the peace and quiet enjoyment of other guests will be required to vacate the premises immediately and without refund. The credit card of the registered guest will be subject to charges for damages due to guest complaints regarding excessive noise during posted quiet hours. This may include paying the tariffs for guests who leave as a result of your excessive noise. All visitors to your room must leave quietly by 9pm.
Guests: Visitors are permitted at the management’s discretion. We do NOT allow large, noisy gatherings or parties in our rooms. Guests must leave the premises quietly before 9pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all of the visitors to their room for the duration of the registered guest's stay. All deliberate and/or reckless acts that result in damage to ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments and any costs associated with inappropriate conduct resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.
Parking: Parking within the property grounds is reserved for paying guests only. We require your registration. If you require more than 1 carpark during your stay please see us at Office. Visitors parking within the property need to see Office first (Health & Safety). Should the carpark be full, and we do not have a car registered we reserve the right to have the car towed at your expense.
Smoking Is NOT Allowed Inside Your Room Or In Any Room On The Property: Guests and visitors are prohibited to smoke inside their rooms.To protect people from the health effects of second-hand smoke, smoking in most public areas including shopping malls, public transport, pubs, bars and restaurants is prohibited in New Zealand. All workplaces are smoke free.If you do smoke in your unit, you WILL be personally charged NZ$300.00 minimum, to cover specialist cleaning and resulting loss of income.
Strong Smelling Foods: In order to avoid residual lingering food odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests - the cooking of strong smelling foods is not permitted in this motel. If strong residual odours remain, the registered guest may be charged a minimum of $300 for the cost of professional cleaning. If the room cannot be rented until the smell is removed, the registered guest will be charged for the resulting loss of income to ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments
Pets: Assistance animals are permitted into accommodation areas and on the premises. It is the policy of this property that all other pets are ONLY allowed at the discretion of management.
Keys: Please remember to leave your room key in the at Office prior to departure, if you are departing outside Office hours, contact Office for drop off arrangements. Unreturned keys will be charged at $200.00 per key as new specialised key is needed to be created.
